To climax our Royal Teacher Orientation Week, we paid tribute to our hardworking teachers for their dedicated service in helping our princes and princesses achieve their individual and combined BJC goals. Special shout out to our Social Studies Department for obtaining the highest amount of passes (82%) and to our Prevocational Unit for ensuring that all of our students are equally given opportunities for educational excellence!!! On Friday 28 August 2026, D.W.Davis Junior High School Student Leaderships Team consisting of Junior and Senior Prefecrs and Hall Monitors hosted its first training seminar. At the seminar students participated in brainstorming activities and encouraged to step into their role with courage, attitude of service and God guiding and directing their decisions.

Our first speaker, Ms. Shakera Lightbourne spoke to student leaders on What is Leadership? Highlighting the Qualities of a Good Leader.

Our second speaker, Mr. Rashad Cunningham spoke on the importance of Leading with a Purpose reminding student leaders to lead with purpose this requires us to Reset their Mindset.

Our final speaker, Ms. Kathonia Russell spoke on Leading through Service and their Role as a Royal Prefect
