In keeping with the vision of Commissioner of Police, Mr. Clayton Fernander, QPM, which involves immersing our nation's youth in positive endeavors, on Sunday, 23rd October, 2022 the Urban Renewal Division "Building a Strong Child" Band Program, under the leadership of Supt. T Campbell, O/C Urban Renewal Division, along with R/Insp O. Dames, Sgt. 3260 Ambrose, Sgt. 3403 Capron, Cpl. 3851 Storr, R/WPC 563 Dean, WPC 4210 Burrows, and PC 4339 Pratt participated in the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture National Youth March and Rally.
PC 4339 Pratt directed the one hundred-twenty (120) member band, which marched and executed an impressive repertoire of Bahamian songs and cultural routines, much to the delectation of the crowd, who sang, cheered and danced along. A large contingent of children from the various urban communities also marched along with the band.

On Sunday June 5th 2022, at 11am, while in New Bight Cat Island, the Urban Renewal Revolutionized Band Visited and rendered a selection at the New Bight Highway Church of God, New Bight Cat Island.
The band was welcomed and received by Pastor Russell and Island Administrator Pastor Williamson in the absence of Bishop Winslow Moss. During the service the band rendered the selection “Goodness of God” where the audience sang along, followed by a dance selection displayed by the GEMS organized dancers which received a rousing round of applause.
Island Administrator Mrs. Williamson was the guest speaker for today's service where she spoke on the topic “In everything you do, Do it for God”.
