Krazy Sports with our seniors yesterday- sack race, three legged race, egg 'n spoon, relay, and dribbling the ball race, etc. Seeing them laugh and work together was just awesome.

Congratulations to our grade 12 student Delano Davis on winning second place in E-class and 5th place in B- laser class at the Sir Durward Knowles Junior Regatta. Delano began sailing in 2021 with the LJM Maritime Summer camp, since then he has won multiple regattas. Delano joined our school in grade 9, where he has obtained 6 BJC's( 4As 2B's) and 2 BGCES( English Language and and Office Procedures). He has been on the honor roll for 3 consecutive years and Holds a title being Director in Anchor Club for two years and a member of The Gentlemens Club.
He an apprentice with Yacht Services Bahamas and currently works at the Bahamas National Sailing School where he coaches all ages twice a week. Delano goals after highschool is to attend college and pursue a degree in Engineering to be able work on boats and ships. Lets congratulate him on all his achievements. We salute Delano and wish him the best in his future endeavors

Heartfelt congratulations to our very own Ms. Cierra Rolle, President of the Alternative Learning Institute Anchor Club, on securing first place in the Bahamas District Pilot International Anchor Speech Competition, held under the theme “The Power of Serving Together.” The competition was highly competitive, featuring 15 Anchors from clubs across New Providence, Abaco, and Grand Bahama. All participants performed exceptionally well and should be proud, as the event highlighted the confidence, leadership, and dedication of Anchors throughout the district.

Alternative Learning Institute Students' Leaders Installation Ceromony was held on Thursday, November 6th, 2025. The prefect body and Student Council along with the various clubs were installed for the school year 2025-2026. Mr. Everette Mackey, our board menber spoke about leadership and also pinned the officers for this year. During the ceromony Mrs Nancy Mejas a member of Sister Sister Breast Cancer Group was presented a check from the school to assist the group. Parents were there and joined in the celebrations, we asked them to come assist with the pinning and to take pictures with their child/children.It is an honour to see our students become leaders.

Congratulations to our Boys Leadership Club for donating breakfast for the patients at the Oncology Clinic at the Princess Margaret Hospital today.
The students assisted Sister Sister Breast Cancer Group. The boys came to school early to help with preparing and packaging the meals. The students served We are proud of them and pray God continue to bless them and Mr. Denton, their advisor. Thank you Mr. Trevor Johnson, for providing transportation for the students.
