Pace Christian Academy Pace Christian Academy was established to cater to the needs of students who were not functioning in the regular academic setting.

The name was chosen to reflect one of the main goals, that of working with children at their own pace. It is believed that each student can be successful at something and it is important that our students believe this also, hence, the school verse and motto. Our school verse is Psalm 139:14a “ I will praise thee for I am fearfully and wonderfully made…”. The motto is: “ I was created for greatness

!”. Pace Christian Academy’s mission is to meet the academic, social, and spiritual needs of children in a Christian environment conducive to learning. Today, the institution caters to students who are on grade level as well as those who may be facing academic challenges. We have become known as a “Second Chance” school. In addition to focusing on academics, we also provide opportunities for some of our students to learn a trade. We are fully registered and approved by the Ministry of Education and our students also sit the national examinations. We are also considered a teaching school and provide opportunities for students at the College of The Bahamas, considering a career in any area of education, to observe classes or interact with our students. Over the past ten (10) years we have seen students who have been pushed to the side or overlooked by other institutions come alive and do well in school. We operate on the premise that all children are good at something and it is our job, along with their parents, to find out what they are good at and then help them to achieve it. In the next five years, Pace Christian Academy will occupy improved facilities, catering to more students with special needs or those who simply require or prefer a smaller academic environment.

Last Friday, Pace Christian Academy turned all the way up with our Entrepreneur Boss Up Bazaar, and let’s just say, it was an event to remember!

From the moment you walked in, the energy was unmatched. If you weren’t lining up at Navy Bakes or P.M.S (Princess, Madisson Store) for those irresistible treats, then you were definitely in the chair at LDR Cuts getting a crisp, clean lineup. And ladies? Don’t think they forgot about you, those brows were getting shaped to perfection!

Even Ms. Murray said she felt young again… now that says a lot!

But wait, because the vibes didn’t stop there. Right after your glow-up, the smell of hot, fresh food pulled you straight to Tropical Sippies for some mouthwatering chicken and fries, paired perfectly with an ice-cold lemonade sippie.

From start to finish, our student entrepreneurs showed up and showed out. Creativity, confidence, and pure hustle filled the room, they did not come to play!

We couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of them. The future is looking bright at Pace! ✨
