Congratulations to George Bain, L. N. Coakley High School’s 2023 Deputy Head Boy, on the remarkable achievement of being selected as Student Government Association President at Central State University!

This is a historic moment, as George is the first Bahamian to hold this prestigious position and the first male to serve as SGA President in eight years.

Congratulations to Ervin Smith, L. N. Coakley High School’s 2024 Deputy Head Boy, on his stellar achievement of being accepted into Drake University’s Doctor of Pharmacy Program!

We also congratulate his proud parents, Urban and Thelma Smith, and his siblings, Thalia and Lincoln, who have been his greatest cheerleaders throughout this journey.
