Grand Bahama Catholic High School Alumni Association Announces 60th Jubilee Reunion Celebration: “Crusaders Never Say Die”

Freeport, Grand Bahama – The Grand Bahama Catholic High School Alumni Association is proud to announce its highly anticipated 60th Jubilee Reunion Weekend, taking place July 10–12, all roads lead to the Wallace groves auditorium - bringing together generations of Crusaders from across The Bahamas and around the world for a historic celebration of faith, fellowship, memories, and giving back.

Under the theme “Honoring our Past, Celebrating our Present, Inspiring our Future” this milestone event will commemorate six decades of excellence, honour, truth, faith, brotherhood, and pride—the values that have shaped thousands of students who proudly walked through the doors of Grand Bahama Catholic High School.

The Alumni Association extends a heartfelt invitation to all alumni, even those who have recently graduated, to celebrate this extraordinary occasion with us . The weekend promises a variety of activities designed to reconnect classmates, honor the school’s rich legacy, and create new memories for generations of Crusaders.

“This reunion is more than just a celebration of 60 years,” said representatives of the Alumni Association. “It is an opportunity for us to come together as one Crusader family, reflect on the impact our school has had on our lives, and give back to the institution that helped shape us.”

In addition to celebrating the school’s legacy, the reunion weekend also serves as a fundraising initiative. The Alumni Association hopes to make a meaningful donation to Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Academy (MSSCA) on behalf of alumni worldwide. Community members are encouraged to support the various fundraising activities throughout the weekend, including the Mini-Fair, Grill & Chill, and Sunday Brunch

“We are looking for the entire Grand Bahama community to come out and support this event.”

The reunion will feature alumni spanning every generation of the school’s history, including representatives from the very first graduating class of Grand Bahama Catholic High School. Organizers have also successfully located one of the original teachers who taught the first class—a nun whose dedication helped lay the foundation for generations of Crusaders. Efforts are currently underway to obtain a special message or greeting from her during the reunion weekend as she is 92 years old.

* Thanksgiving Church Service
* Alumni Donation Presentation to MSSCA
* Brunch & Farewell Festivities
