Do you know when to use LESS and FEWER?
✅ FEWER = countable nouns • people • books • cars
✅ LESS = uncountable nouns • water • money • time
Example:
✅ Fewer people attended the meeting.
🇧🇷 Menos pessoas participaram da reunião.
💡 Easy rule to remember:
👉 If you can count it, use FEWER.
👉 If you can't count it, use LESS.
This is one of the most common grammar mistakes in IELTS Writing and Speaking.
