Our community came together to explore an increasingly relevant question: how does learning multiple languages shape the way children think, learn and prepare for a future influenced by Artificial Intelligence?

With Matthias Meier, families reflected on how multilingualism can strengthen critical thinking, creativity, empathy and intercultural understanding, while also contributing to the development of globally minded learners.

Nossa comunidade se reuniu para refletir sobre uma questão cada vez mais relevante: como aprender múltiplos idiomas influencia a forma como as crianças pensam, aprendem e se preparam para um futuro impactado pela Inteligência Artificial?

Being a father means being fluent in many ways. It means being fluent in playing together, studying together, and making everything easier. It’s dancing like no one’s watching and telling the best stories using the most entertaining voices. It’s making a huge mess, but also knowing when it’s time to tidy up, wash the dishes, and get everything in order. Here’s to this person who is so important in our lives! And here’s to that multi-fluency that makes us human beings so special and unique. Happy Father’s Day.

In March, our Year 10 students participated in an educational expedition to the Amazon that combined field research, community service, and meaningful engagement with residents. During the experience, they spent time in the Tumbira community, took part in service initiatives, and supported the Rio Negro Turtle Conservation Project. Workshops, guided rainforest hikes, and cultural activities deepened their understanding of the region, its people, and its environmental and social realities.

Em março, Nossos alunos da 1ª série do Ensino Médio participaram de um passeio educativo à Amazônia, que incluiu atividades de campo, ações voluntárias e trocas com os moradores locais. Durante a experiência, estiveram na comunidade Tumbira, engajaram-se em iniciativas solidárias e apoiaram o projeto Quelônios do Rio Negro. Oficinas, trilhas na mata e atividades culturais contribuíram para ampliar a compreensão sobre o território e sua realidade.
