It's halloween 🎃👻!!

Today was play day!! International fairy tea party! The girls played hopschotch, tic tac toe, made a flashlight project! Such a fun class

So proud to say that my girls class will be the first one in Brazil to pe part 😍😍😍 sep. 19

136 celebrations now on the map... new countries have joined... it really brings out my inner child of excitement when I plot the parties on the map and see all these new marvellous places that I did not know about before, and also places that I am familiar with and make me excited that they are here too...

I between popping parties on the fairy map I am reading about creating democratic spaces for children - creating play possibilities that allow for participation and influence and the need for teachers to engage in play without taking over the play for this to happen...
I see the International Fairy Tea Party as a perfect opportunity for us to create this for/with children and to practice how to interact with the play without interfering...

There is STILL time to sign up... I sign up right until the last day... as this is about participation and inclusion.

Just write your party name below and your location and I can put you on the map... you celebrate YOUR way. Then if you can PLEASE share some photos of the celebration/set up with or without children so the educators and children can be inspired... we can learn that there are many ways to play, that there are many ways to interpret fairies and magic and wonder and that there are also many similarities!

the name can be your setting/family name or a made up name... the most important is that you and YOUR children can find yourselves on the map and then see how close or far you are away from other celebrations....

A Leprechaun just just came by and left us a pot of "gold"! To celebrate St Patrick's day, this pot can be yours, all you have to do is guess how many pieces of candy is inside the pot! Good luck you have until Sunday March 17th to take a shot 🍀🍀💚💚🌈🌈
