The Graduate Program in Chemistry from Federal University of Santa Maria, invites for the lecture:
Quality Infrastructure for Advanced A**lytical Measurements across Research Testing Clinical Laboratories and Biobanking Systems
Dr. Andrzej Gawor (University of Warsaw, Polland)
10/09/20-26 at 3 P.M, CEPETRO Auditorium (67-A)
The lecture will provide a broader perspective on quality infrastructure supporting advanced analytical measurements in different laboratory environments. Particular attention will be given to method validation and verification, metrological traceability, quality control, reference materials, proficiency testing and the implementation of quality management principles in research, testing and medical laboratories as well as biobanking systems, including the perspectives of ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 15189 and ISO 20387
___________
Dr. Andrzej Gawor
is an analytical chemist at the University of Warsaw, Biological and Chemical Research Centre, and serves as Quality Representative for the University of Warsaw Ochota Campus. His activities focus on quality assurance for advanced analytical measurements, validation and verification of analytical methods, laboratory accreditation, metrological traceability and implementation of international quality standards, particularly ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 15189. His scientific interests include mass spectrometry, proteomics and omics-based analytical workflows, LC-HRMS quality control and the development of reliable analytical strategies for research and clinical applications. He is also involved in accreditation processes, proficiency testing, interlaboratory comparisons and the development of quality frameworks connecting research, testing and medical laboratories with biobanking infrastructure
