Vocês sabem o que é ‘Error Recognition’? - Alguns exames de proficiência têm partes em que o (a) candidato (a) precisa encontrar problemas nas frases apresentadas. Esses problemas podem ser referentes ao tempo verbal, a preposições, palavras faltantes, voz ativa/passiva, etc. - Coloquei aqui 3 exemplos. Cada frase tem um problema e sua solução vem na imagem logo a seguir.

These problems can be related to verb tense, prepositions, missing words, passive/active voice, etc. - I selected 3 examples. Each sentence has one problem and its solution comes in the image right after.

🇺🇸🇬🇧Sometimes we need to take the time and think things through. Especially when a decision produces really different outcomes. However, when a decision takes little or no effort, it's a no-brainer!

🇺🇸🇬🇧When we learn English as a foreign language it’s important to know how to classify the new vocabulary we’ve been learning. Here goes a set of everyday vocabulary that refer to the same things but have different words in American and British English!


🇧🇷Quando aprendemos inglês como uma língua estrangeira é importante saber como classificar o vocabulário novo que estamos aprendendo. Aqui vai um vocabulário do dia-a-dia que tem palavras diferentes no inglês americano e no inglês britânico!

Meu nome é Dion e em 2020 atingi a marca de 13 anos de ensino de Inglês.
Refletindo um pouco sobre todas os benefícios que esse idioma me proporciona,
separei cinco dos mais fantásticos!

Inglês é a melhor ponte entre culturas, é a forma mais rápida de se fazer amizades intercontinentais, conhecer pessoas, seus anseios e suas paixões! E fazer isso de forma livre, espontânea é algo fantástico, que enche o coração de alegria.🥰


2- Oportunidades de trabalho!👨🏻‍💻


O Inglês também me proporcionou a incrível experiência de trabalhar em 3 países diferentes, além do Brasil, e conhecer as necessidades de estudantes de outras culturas e ajudá-los a se aproximar de uma comunicação mais clara e efetiva foi muito gratificante!


3- Conhecimentos Gerais 🤓


A maioria das publicações, sejam em sites ou em livros, são feitas em Inglês e poder acessá-las, muitas vezes em primeira mão, enriquece nossos conhecimentos e fomenta questionamentos que nos tornam melhor educados e aumentam nosso conhecimento do mundo, seus fenômenos e curiosidades. 🔭📚


4- Aumento de confiança e satisfação 👊


É difícil encontrar alguém que não fale Inglês e que não desejaria fazê-lo, e embora sendo relativamente fácil de aprender, a língua pode oferecer alguns obstáculos para quem não se empenha ou não é devidamente guiado. Poder dizer a si mesmo que você fala uma língua estrangeira, seja em nível intermediário ou de proficiência, faz muito bem para nossa satisfação pessoal! ☺️

It is typically related to lack of financial resources (Ex1), when one makes enough to make ends meet and not much more than that!


💡If accompanied by the preposition 'without' it means you can do without something but that this situation is not ideal! (Ex2).


💡The verb also means that you can succeed at a minimal level of acceptability.(Ex3)

Ex1: If you start to save up you'll be able to get by, don't worry.


Ex2: I can get by without a car. I love cycling to work!


Ex3: -So, how do you get by if you don't speak the local language?
-Well, I sometimes use gestures and an online translator!



🇧🇷💡 Esse Phrasal verb significa que você consegue sobreviver, mesmo quando seus recursos são escassos.
Ele é tipicamente relacional à falta de recursos financeiros (Ex1), quando alguém ganha o suficiente para pagar as contas, mas não muito mais que isso!


💡Se acompanhado da preposição 'without' ele significa que você consegue se virar sem algo, mas que essa situação não é ideal! (Ex2).


💡O verbo também significa que você consegue se virar com um nível mínimo de aceitação.(Ex3)
