Our community came together for a day filled with joy, traditions, and plenty of fun. From delicious treats and exciting games to lively dance performances, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The festivities were made even more special by the Trio Nordestino and our parents’ and teachers’ band, who kept the energy high with lots of forró and great music! 💃🕺🎶

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this celebration so memorable. As the June festivities continue, we wish all of our families a wonderful and fun-filled break! 💙🌽✨

Nossa comunidade se reuniu para um dia repleto de alegria, tradições e muita diversão. Tivemos deliciosas guloseimas, brincadeiras, apresentações de dança e muita animação para toda a família. A festa ficou ainda mais especial com o Trio Nordestino e a banda formada por pais e professores, que animaram a todos com muito forró e música boa! 💃🕺🎶

A milestone worth celebrating ✨ Yesterday, we gathered for our Year 5 Moving Up Ceremony, honoring the end of an important chapter and the beginning of an exciting new journey into Middle School.

The ceremony celebrated the growth, achievements, and learning experiences that have shaped our students throughout their Elementary years. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and look forward to seeing them continue to thrive as they take their next steps. Congratulations, Year 5! 🎓💙

Um marco que merece ser celebrado ✨ Ontem, nos reunimos para a cerimônia de Moving Up do Year 5, celebrando o encerramento de uma importante etapa e o início de uma nova jornada rumo ao Middle School.

Recently, our Panthers have been exploring the world of science through hands-on learning and discovery. 🔬✨ From the Year 2 Science Fair to the Secondary Science Fair featuring students from Year 6 to Year 10, learners had the opportunity to present their experiments, investigations, and findings to families and peers. A special shoutout to Atlética Bahiana de Medicina, which attended our Secondary Fair and made valuable contributions, enriching our students’ experience!

Watching students develop their curiosity, scientific thinking, and passion for discovery across different stages of their educational journey is truly inspiring. We are proud of their creativity, dedication, and enthusiasm for learning! 👏🌎

Recentemente, nossos Panthers mergulharam no universo da ciência por meio de experiências de aprendizagem práticas e investigativas. 🔬✨ Da Feira de Ciências do Year 2 à Feira de Ciências do Secondary, com alunos do Year 6 ao Year 10, nossos estudantes tiveram a oportunidade de apresentar experimentos, pesquisas e descobertas para suas famílias e colegas. Um agradecimento especial aos integrantes da Atlética Bahiana de Medicina por participarem enquanto jurados, promovendo trocas enriquecedoras com os alunos do Secondary.

A celebration of inquiry, action, and learning ✨ Yesterday, our Year 5 students proudly presented their PYP Exhibition, the culminating experience of the Primary Years Programme.

Families were invited to explore and celebrate the students’ learning journeys as they showcased their research, discoveries, and actions connected to real-world issues.

We are incredibly proud of the confidence, critical thinking, and commitment demonstrated by our students throughout this meaningful experience. 👏🌎📚

Uma celebração da investigação, da ação e da aprendizagem ✨ Ontem, nossos alunos do Year 5 apresentaram a PYP Exhibition, a experiência culminante do Programa dos Anos Primários (PYP).

As famílias foram convidadas a conhecer e celebrar a jornada de aprendizagem dos estudantes, que compartilharam suas pesquisas, descobertas e ações relacionadas a questões do mundo real.

Temos muito orgulho da confiança, do pensamento crítico e do comprometimento demonstrados por nossos alunos ao longo dessa experiência tão significativa. 👏🌎📚

Last Wednesday, we celebrated a truly special milestone by honoring the Class of 2026 and officially welcoming them as PASB Alumni. 🎓✨

The evening was filled with pride, gratitude, and celebration as we recognized the remarkable achievements of our graduates and the people who have supported them along the way. We were also honored to present the Anita Lagesse Award to Gisela V.B. and Ana Carolina S. for their outstanding contributions to our community, as well as the Peter M. Nowell Award to Amy P., recognizing her as an exceptional Senior whose character and positive influence have made her an inspiration within our school community.

We are incredibly proud of our graduates and the global citizens they have become. As they embark on new journeys around the world, we hope they always remember that they will have a place to call home at PASB.

Na última quarta-feira, celebramos um momento muito especial com a Turma de 2026 e recebemos os estudantes oficialmente como Alumni da PASB. 🎓✨

A cerimônia foi marcada por orgulho, gratidão e celebração, reconhecendo as conquistas dos nossos formandos e das pessoas que os apoiaram ao longo dessa jornada. Também tivemos a honra de entregar o Prêmio Anita Lagesse a Gisela V.B. e Ana Carolina S., em reconhecimento às suas contribuições marcantes para a nossa comunidade, além do Peter M. As is tradition at the end of every school year, Charlotte’s Web – the beloved children’s classic by E. B. White – came to life in our Year 3 classrooms this week! 🐷🕷️

After reading the book in class, analyzing its themes, and rehearsing the play, students dressed up for the iconic roles of Charlotte, Wilbur, Fern, and the barnyard animals. Authentic, funny, and heartwarming, their performances showed a deep understanding of the book’s characters, impressing their families in the audience.

We’re so proud of how far they have come and can’t wait to see the new adventures they’ll embark on in Year 4! 🕸️

O clássico da literatura infantil “Charlotte’s Web”, escrito por E. B. White, ganhou vida nas nossas salas de aula como parte do tradicional projeto de culminância do Year 3! 🐷🕷️

Depois da leitura e análise da obra, os estudantes se dedicaram aos ensaios e, finalmente, vestiram os figurinos de personagens icônicos como Charlotte, Wilbur, Fern e os animais da fazenda. Com apresentações autênticas, engraçadas e emocionantes, eles demonstraram uma compreensão profunda de seus personagens, impressionando suas famílias na plateia.

Estamos muito orgulhosos do crescimento deles ao longo deste ano. Mal podemos esperar para acompanhar suas novas aventuras no Year 4! 🕸️
