Saint John’s celebrations are among the most traditional festivals in our culture. But have you ever stopped to think that other regions and countries also have celebrations that embody the same spirit of unity, tradition, and joy? 👀

We invited some of our employees to share a little about the traditional festivals in their home states and countries, explaining which traditions remind them of Saint John’s celebrations and what they appreciate most about this special festival in Bahia. 🌽🥜

Even with different customs, there is something that unites all great popular festivals: the ability to bring people together, celebrate culture, and create unforgettable memories.

O São João é uma das festas mais tradicionais da nossa cultura. Mas você já parou para pensar que outras regiões e países também têm celebrações que carregam o mesmo espírito de união, tradição e alegria? 👀

Convidamos alguns dos nossos colaboradores para compartilhar um pouco sobre as festas típicas de seus estados e países de origem, contando quais tradições os fazem lembrar do São João e o que mais apreciam nessa celebração tão especial da Bahia. 🌽🥜

Porque, mesmo com costumes diferentes, existe algo que une todas as grandes festas populares: a capacidade de reunir pessoas, celebrar a cultura e criar memórias inesquecíveis.

Learning also involves observing, investigating, and connecting with nature. 🔍🌱

During a Biology practical lesson, our Year 11 IB students explored the species found in the EcoVilla Woods to create herbarium specimens, an important tool for preserving and conserving biodiversity.

Throughout the activity, they gained a deeper understanding of plant structures, identified floral parts, and learned about their role in essential processes such as pollination and ecosystem maintenance. 🌸

Going far beyond theory, this hands-on experience sparked the students’ scientific curiosity and strengthened their environmental awareness, demonstrating that understanding nature is the first step toward valuing and protecting it. 💚

Aprender também é observar, investigar e se conectar com a natureza. 🔍🌱

Na aula prática de Biologia, os nossos alunos do Year 11 – High School (2ª série do Ensino Médio) do IB exploraram as espécies presentes no Bosque EcoVilla para a construção de espécimes de herbário, uma importante ferramenta para a preservação e a conservação da biodiversidade.

Durante a experiência, eles puderam conhecer melhor as estruturas das plantas, identificar partes florais e compreender sua importância em processos essenciais, como a polinização e a manutenção dos ecossistemas. 🌸

Muito além da teoria, essa vivência despertou a curiosidade científica e fortaleceu a consciência ambiental dos estudantes, mostrando que conhecer a natureza é o primeiro passo para valorizá-la e protegê-la. 💚

Play is one of the most important ways children learn. It is through play that they explore the world, develop creativity, exercise their imagination, learn to interact with others, and make new discoveries every day. 🛝
