On August 22, Núcleo EAAE welcomes Ben Yalom for the international seminar:
Your Body Knows Your Story: An Embodied Approach to Exploring Meaning
Ben Yalom is a psychotherapist, writer, theater-maker, and doctoral student, practicing narrative and existential therapy. He is the co-author, with his father, Irvin D. Yalom, of Hour of the Heart. Before entering the field of psychotherapy, he was the founder and artistic director of foolsFURY Theater, an experimental theater company based in San Francisco. His extensive experience in theater contributed to the development of Your Body Knows Your Story, an embodied therapeutic approach integrating devised theater techniques with existential and narrative therapy.
In this seminar, Ben will explore how the body can become a pathway to accessing stories, experiences, and new possibilities for creating meaning.
