Hi everyone,
As of this month we will start a new kind of activity to help us learn English. We call it the Debating Initiative.
What is that?
Over the next few months we will be offering all our clients the chance to:
- put your English knowledge into practice
- practise listening and speaking skills
- practise your English in a group of people through Skype
- learn how to make arguments and defend them in English
Every month there will be a topic to discuss and all participants will be divided in groups - one group will defend the statement which will be our topic (for example: debate on: Global warming is a problem modern society needs to solve this century) and the other group will be against this statement.
Thus, you will have the chance to learn to build arguments in English and present them to the rest. Everyone will be receiving feedback and work with others at their level. We also have a few native speakers who will participate.
There is a fixed promotional price of R$ 80 per person per debate which includes 30 mins per person with a teacher from English Today Group, helping you build your argument, and 1 hour debate per group through a call in Skype.
