Duda Toscano Results in English - Neurolanguage Coaching

I believe in the development of people through communication, and I understand it is one of the key features to integrate into the world, whatever our interests and purposes. In this context, I think one of the strongest communication tools is the foreign language. It offers us the chance to expand knowledge and gain new relationships. My job is to help people acquire the English language through a very special model that studies the best ways to activate the brain, so that it can learn better; how our emotions are managed in order to build a more efficient learning system; and how the mediator plays an essential role throughout the whole process. I am talking about Neurolanguage Coaching® (method and approach created by Rachel Marie Paling), and I am more than glad to invite you to follow me and know better about this new world of learning and practicing a foreign language.

What an enchanting experience at a pottery class with the super designer and artist Carime Carime Engels today!! Being surrounded by art, wonderful people, beautiful place, and pleasant environment really made our day! Working with clay encourages exploring and experimentation, helps the mind relax and expand, and even enhance resilience. Highly recommended!!! Thank you, Carime!

World Book and Copyright Day
"Books have long embodied the human capacity to conjure up worlds, both real and imagined, giving voice to the diversity of human experience. They help us share ideas, obtain information, and inspire admiration for different cultures, enabling far-reaching forms of dialogue between people across space and time. Every year, on 23 April – a date that marks the departure of three great authors of universal literature, Miguel de Cervantes, William Shakespeare, and Inca Garcilaso de la Vega – we celebrate their captivating power to spark innovation, generate knowledge and change minds." "Christ carrying the cross", ca. 1577-87, is a famous painting by El Greco, which depicts Jesus Christ with a crown of thorns on his head. He carries the cross on which he will later die and be resurrected. Jesus Christ is represented without pain and suffering, which makes this truly transcendent work of art. In this photo, El Greco hoped to convey the supernatural love of Jesus Christ, not the pain he is feeling. Jesus Christ looks up in this print, showing that his thoughts are focused on higher images. Technically, El Greco demonstrated his perfect use of soft colors and an absolute mastery of mannerism with his canvases.

International Day of Education - 24 January
"In these exceptional times, business as usual is no longer an option. If we are to transform the future, if we are to change course, we must rethink education. This means forging a new social contract for education (...). We need to repair past injustices and orient the digital transformation around inclusion and equity. And we need education to fully contribute to sustainable development – for instance, by integrating environmental education in all curricula and by training teachers in this field." - Audrey Azoulay, UNESCO Director General.

Today is Teachers' Day!

I kindly dedicate it to my beloved students, who have made my experience as a teacher beautiful, emotional and fulfilling. Together, we have taught, learned, inspired and motivated each other. I can say we have especially grown together in many aspects of our lives.
Super, super thank you!!

Today is World Book Day!!

This day was established by UNESCO on April 23, 1995.

Originally, Valencian writer Vicente Clavel Andrés suggested that the day should be on a day that honored the Spanish author Miguel de Cervantes. This meant that it could either be on his birthday, on October 7, or the day he died, on April 23. Because the day he died coincided with the date on which William Shakespeare and Inca Garcilaso de la Vega had also died, this date was chosen.

"Reading is a stellar form of entertainment and it requires that you use your imagination rather than simply watching visuals on a screen. There is also something so therapeutic about the actual feel of a book, with its scent of printed pages and glossy covers." (National Today)

The books on the pic are the ones I am reading at the moment. What about you? What are you reading right now?

Arts

April 15th - World Art Day

This day was chosen in honour of Leonardo da Vinci's birthday, who was a symbol of world peace, freedom of expression and a testament to the influence of the Fine Arts on other fields.

Art nurtures creativity, innovation and cultural diversity for all peoples across the globe and plays an important role in sharing knowledge and encouraging curiosity and dialogue. UNESCO

The 3 paintings on my post are a tribute to my last trip and presencial course last year before the quarentine, at Uffizi Gallery, Florence.

1. Annunciation, 1472-5
2. Adoration of the Magi, 1481-2
3. Baptism of Christ, 1475 (where young Leonardo collaborated with his master Andrea del Verrocchio realizing the angel in profile)
