From underground adventures to holding a Madagascar cockroach — our Reception children had the most extraordinary day exploring the world of minibeasts at Na Floresta! 🐛🌿

As part of their IEYC unit, The Brilliant Bug Ball, they got up close with geckos, millipedes, centipedes, and even a real honeycomb, discovering how bees make honey and learning about the life cycles of butterflies and bees. Every moment was filled with curiosity, wonder, and hands-on discovery.

Watching our youngest learners handle each creature with such gentleness, care, and confidence was truly special. Learning beyond the classroom: meaningful, memorable, and magical. ✨

De aventuras subterrâneas a segurar uma barata de Madagascar — nossas crianças do Reception tiveram um dia extraordinário explorando o mundo dos pequenos animais no Na Floresta! 🐛🌿

Como parte da sua unidade IEYC, The Brilliant Bug Ball, elas se aproximaram de geckos, piolhos-de-cobra, centopeias e até de um favo de mel real, descobrindo como as abelhas produzem mel e aprendendo sobre os ciclos de vida de borboletas e abelhas. Cada momento foi repleto de curiosidade, encantamento e descoberta.

Ver nossos alunos mais novos manuseando cada criatura com tanta delicadeza, cuidado e confiança foi verdadeiramente especial. Isso é aprendizado além da sala de aula: significativo, memorável e mágico. ✨

As part of their IEYC topic, The Brilliant Bug Ball, both classes visited Na Floresta in Cidade Jardim for an unforgettable minibeast adventure. They had the chance to explore underground habitats, hold a gecko, millipede, centipede, and Madagascar cockroach, and learn all about how bees make honey from a real honeycomb.

The children showed incredible curiosity and kindness — learning not just about the natural world, but how to care for it and the creatures that live within it. It's moments like these that make us so proud of our BCB community. 🐝💛

Que semana incrível para nossas crianças da Reception! 🌿🐛

Como parte do tema IEYC The Brilliant Bug Ball, as duas turmas visitaram o Na Floresta, no bairro Cidade Jardim, para uma aventura inesquecível no mundo dos pequenos animais. BCB Work Experience Week is here!

This week, our Year 10 and Year 12 students are taking a remarkable step in their educational journey — experiencing the world of work first-hand, across some of Brazil's most exciting and prestigious organisations.

Our students are shadowing professionals at Itaú, Congresso Nacional in Brasília, Haras DC (Agribusiness), Azul Airlines in partnership with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Teatro Municipal de São Paulo, POLI USP, JICA (the Japan International Cooperation Agency, working at the forefront of sustainable development and Japan-Brazil relations), SKA Brasil Football Club, and many others. A number of students are also gaining valuable experience closer to home, interning within BCB's own administrative departments right here at school.

Why does this matter? Work experience helps young people develop essential professional skills, explore potential career paths, build meaningful networks, and gain the confidence to navigate the world beyond school. At BCB, we believe that a truly rounded education extends well beyond the classroom — and initiatives like this are at the heart of what makes our community special.

We are incredibly proud of every single student taking part.

A Work Experience Week da BCB já começou!

Essa semana, nossos alunos dos Years 10 e 12 vivem uma etapa única em sua jornada educacional: a experiência do mundo do trabalho na prática, dentro de algumas das organizações mais relevantes e inspiradoras do Brasil.

Eles estão em imersão no Itaú, no Congresso Nacional em Brasília, no Haras DC (Agronegócio), na Azul Airlines em parceria com a Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, no Teatro Municipal de São Paulo, na POLI USP, na JICA (Agência de Cooperação Internacional do Japão, referência mundial em desenvolvimento sustentável e nas relações entre Japão e Brasil), no SKA Brasil Football Club, entre muitos outros. Alguns alunos também estão vivendo essa experiência aqui mesmo, estagiando nos departamentos administrativos da BCB.

Essa iniciativa vai além do currículo: ela prepara jovens para o mercado de trabalho, amplia horizontes de carreira, desenvolve habilidades interpessoais e fortalece a confiança necessária para os próximos passos.

Na BCB, acreditamos que uma educação verdadeiramente completa acontece dentro e fora da sala de aula. Estamos muito orgulhosos de cada aluno que faz parte desta semana.

Year 2 students had a wonderful Entry Point to launch their new IPC unit, The Magic Toymaker. The classroom became a busy workshop where children worked together to design and build their very own pinball game.

There was excitement, creativity and great engagement throughout the activity, providing a fun and meaningful introduction to the unit and a memorable learning experience at BCB.

Os alunos do Year 2 tiveram um Entry Point especial para iniciar a nova unidade do IPC, The Magic Toymaker. A sala de aula se tornou uma oficina animada, onde as crianças trabalharam juntas para projetar e construir seus próprios jogos de pinball.

A atividade foi marcada por entusiasmo, criatividade e grande engajamento, proporcionando uma introdução divertida e significativa à unidade e uma experiência de aprendizagem memorável na BCB.

During our recent Open Morning at the BCB CF campus, we had the pleasure of welcoming prospective families to experience life at BCB. Families enjoyed a full campus tour guided by our students and gained a deeper understanding of what makes our community so special.

The morning concluded with a presentation from our Principal, offering an overview of BCB’s educational approach, values and future vision. It was a warm and engaging opportunity to connect with our community.

Reception’s Superhero Exit Point Adventure!

The Reception Superhero Exit Point brought the IEYC unit To the Rescue to life across the CF and CJ campuses, transforming the school into a joyful world of superheroes. For one special day, our children became real heroes, celebrating learning through fun, imagination and meaningful shared experiences.

With colourful eco‑friendly costumes, a lively obstacle course and the premiere of the class comic book created using Book Creator, the day was filled with happy moments that reflect the strong sense of community and the joyful learning spirit at BCB.

O Exit Point de Super‑Heróis do Reception trouxe à vida a unidade do IEYC To the Rescue nos campi CF e CJ, transformando a escola em um universo alegre de super‑heróis. Por um dia especial, nossas crianças se tornaram verdadeiros heróis, celebrando a aprendizagem com diversão, imaginação e experiências compartilhadas.

Entre fantasias sustentáveis, um percurso de obstáculos animado e a estreia da história em quadrinhos da turma, o dia foi marcado por momentos felizes que refletem o forte senso de comunidade e o espírito de aprendizagem da BCB.
