This Northern Hemisphere summer, we had the pleasure of welcoming several Notre Dame students to Brazil for a variety of programs, including the Global Professional Experience (GPE).

It’s always inspiring to see our students immersing themselves in Brazil — learning from local communities, contributing to meaningful projects, and building lasting connections.

Now we shift gears and we happy to welcome our Fall Semester Study Abroad students here in São Paulo.

Notre Dame São Paulo’s Director, Thais Pires, was honored to attend the award ceremony alongside her colleagues from Notre Dame Global!

Members of the Notre Dame Global team gathered at the NAFSA Association of International Educators conference in San Diego to celebrate and officially receive the Senator Paul Simon Award for Comprehensive Internationalization.

This award is a testament to the University of Notre Dame's ongoing commitment to expanding opportunities for students and faculty, growing its international partnerships, and embedding global engagement more deeply into academic life at the University.
