On December 8th, we celebrated Chapel’s 78th birthday! We joyfully marked this special occasion throughout our school. The ECEC made a delightful three-tier cake, while the Elementary School enjoyed special Chapel cupcakes during snack time. Elementary students took part in heartfelt celebratory masses and High School students received a blessing, bringing our school community together in gratitude and reflection. Happy 78th birthday, Chapel! 🎉🎂💙

No dia 8 de dezembro, celebramos o 78º aniversário da Chapel! Comemoramos com alegria essa ocasião especial em toda a nossa escola. O ECEC fez um delicioso bolo de três camadas, enquanto o Elementary School desfrutou de cupcakes especiais da Chapel durante o lanche. Os alunos do Elementary School participaram de missas comemorativas emocionantes, e os alunos do High School receberam uma bênção, unindo nossa comunidade escolar em gratidão e reflexão. Feliz 78º aniversário, Chapel! 🎉🎂💙

Our High School Art students visited the “36ª Bienal de São Paulo, Not All Travellers Walk Roads – Of Humanity as Practice”, an inspiring dive into contemporary art that sparked reflection, conversation, and creativity. We returned energized and excited to see how this experience will shape their future work. 🎨🖼️

Nossos alunos de Artes do High School visitaram a “36ª Bienal de São Paulo, Nem Todos os Viajantes Caminham por Estradas – da Humanidade como Prática”, uma imersão inspiradora na arte contemporânea que despertou reflexão, conversa e criatividade. Retornamos energizados e empolgados para ver como essa experiência irá moldar os futuros trabalhos deles. 🎨🖼️

Today, Chapel’s Educational Leadership team and members of the PTA had the joy of visiting Escola Santo Eugênio. This year, for the first time, we were honored to share a meaningful opportunity to give back.
Our PTA organized over 100 Christmas gift packages for the children at our sister school, maintained by the Oblate Fathers. We were welcomed with so much love, and the children from the Vila Clara community deeply appreciate the care and generosity of our Chapel families. Thank you to all Chapel parents who sponsored a child. The gifts have been delivered to Escola Santo Eugênio and will be distributed soon by Santa during their Christmas celebration. 🎄🎅🏼✨

Hoje, a equipe de Liderança Educacional da Chapel e membros do PTA tiveram a alegria de visitar a Escola Santo Eugênio. Este ano, pela primeira vez, tivemos a honra de compartilhar uma oportunidade significativa de retribuir. Nosso PTA organizou mais de 100 pacotes de presentes de Natal para as crianças da nossa escola irmã, mantida pelos Padres Oblatos. Fomos recebidos com tanto amor, e as crianças da comunidade Vila Clara apreciam profundamente o cuidado e a generosidade das nossas famílias da Chapel. Agradecemos a todos os pais da Chapel que apadrinharam uma criança. Os presentes foram entregues à Escola Santo Eugênio e serão distribuídos em breve pelo Papai Noel durante a celebração de Natal. 🎄🎅🏼✨

🔬This semester, the 6th Grade students studied general plant and animal cells by making Play-Doh models of generic cells. They labeled the organelles and explained their functions to Kindergarten and 5th Grade students. As an introduction to their next project, creating models of specific cells, they visited the High School science labs. They rotated through six microscope stations, observing six different cells and drawing their observations. High School teachers Mr. Marcio Kuroiwa, Mrs. Ingrid Vompean and Mrs. Talita Vieira made this wonderful exchange fruitful and possible. Many thanks for inspiring future biologists! 👩‍🔬

🔬Neste semestre, os alunos do 6º ano estudaram células vegetais e animais gerais, fazendo modelos de células genéricas com massinha. Eles rotularam os organelas e explicaram suas funções para os alunos do Kindergarten e do 5º ano. Como introdução ao seu próximo projeto, que é criar modelos de células específicas, eles visitaram os laboratórios de ciências do High School. Eles passaram por seis estações de microscópio, observando seis células diferentes e desenhando suas observações. Os professores do High School, Sr. Marcio Kuroiwa, Sra. Ingrid Vompean e Sra. Talita Vieira, tornaram essa maravilhosa troca frutífera e possível. Muito obrigado por inspirar futuros biólogos! 🧑‍🔬
