SBQast 114: A 46ª RASBQ (28 a 31 de maio, em Águas de Lindoia) terá uma Sessão Temática focada em Energia Sustentável. O tema está ligado ao ODS 7: Garantir acesso à energia barata, confiável, sustentável e renovável para todos, e envolve o aumento da participação de energias renováveis na matriz energética, aumentar a eficiência energética, a cooperação internacional para facilitar o acesso a pesquisa e tecnologias de energia limpa, incluindo energias renováveis, eficiência energética e tecnologias de combustíveis fósseis avançadas e mais limpas.
A Química está em todas essas frentes: conhecemos há muito tempo no Brasil a ciência do biocombustível, mas também estamos trabalhando nas frentes de solar, eólica, hidrogênio verde, baterias de lítio, e muito mais.
O professor Raphael Nagao de Sousa, coordenador do Laboratório de Eletrocatálise para Conversão de Energia Sustentável (Unicamp) e a professora Lucia Helena Mascaro (UFSCar), diretora de pesquisa do Centro de Desenvolvimento de Materiais Funcionais (CDMF), e integrante do Centro de Inovação em Novas Energias (CINE-FAPESP-SHELL), falam sobre o tema.
