Have a Great Trip to Brazil for the 17th IOAA! ✨

We’re counting down the days until we welcome you all to Brazil 🇧🇷 for the 17th International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics! 🌟 We wish every delegation a smooth and safe journey, with no obstacles along the way. This journey will be as grand as the competition itself! 🚀

You are about to embark on an almost astronomical trip to the host cities, Barra do Piraí and Vassouras, in Rio de Janeiro. 🏙️ Whether you’re our closest neighbor, Paraguay 🇵🇾, around 1,500 km away, or our farthest guest, Japan 🇯🇵, nearly 18,500 km away, all of you are making a long and unforgettable journey to come together and discuss what we all love: astronomy and astrophysics. 🔭

With so many nationalities gathering here 🌎, the combined straight-line distance traveled by the delegations to Brazil is roughly equivalent to 1.5 times the distance from Earth to the Moon! 🌙 This just highlights how special this gathering of brilliant minds from around the world truly is. 💫

We are eagerly waiting to welcome you with open arms 🤗 and to make this experience truly memorable. Have a great trip, and we see you soon under the skies of Rio de Janeiro! ✈️🌌

🌿✨ 17a IOAA conquista o Selo Evento Neutro!
