Hope everyone had an amazing Halloween! I’m pretty happy with my costume since this was a last-minute kinda thing. Once I realized that I was not going to finish my Xena costume—too many details, not enough time, AND my main sewing machine stopped working—I raided my old costumes stash, and The Raven was born. The feather cowl/shrug thing, the skirt, and the corset are from my Morrigan costume (2017, I think). The gloves and boa are pretty old items, and the headpiece was finished two hours before going out. I loved the way it turned out. And I’m really happy that I was able to reuse feathers from a previous costume.

Scenes from a well spent vacation. I’m SO lucky to have the best family and friends in the world.

Tried to keep my hair down, but humidity+wind=impromptu braids. I should see a bunch of scrunchies.

One year without my dad.

My style? Cardigan Goth.
