The project offers a unique and comprehensive package of an advanced EOR/Reservoir Engineering laboratory.
The main objective of the LRAP project is to create capacity and expertise in experimental enhanced oil recover techniques in Brazil by setting up a state-of-the-art EOR centre at COPPE/UFRJ. Prof. Sebastian Geiger is the Director or Research for the School of Energy, Geoscience, Infrastructure and Society (EGIS), the Director for the Institute of GeoEnergy Engineering (IGE), and the Energi Simulation (formerly known as Foundation CMG) Chair in Carbonate Reservoir Simulation from Heriot-Watt University.
