Helloo teacher Vânia on the bloco, back again with a verb that can be a verb when folowed by a noun and a sentencel or It can also bê a preposition followed by a noun , generally It comes at the end of a sentence or in the midlle of It. The difference Will be showed by some examples:
A) SHE likes chocolate pie.
( ela adora torta de chocolate , nesse caso ele vem seguido de um nome torta de chocolate)

We like to Go out on the weekends.
( Nesse caso você nota que ele vem com um verbo expressando toda uma ação).

B) You walk like a model.
( Você anda como se fosse uma modelo). Nesse caso o like vem também acompanhado de um nome; porém o significado é outro comparando o sujeito com uma modelo e o sujeito não é).

He loves to teach like his father.
( Ele adora ensinar como o pai dele, porém ele não é professor como o pai; talvez ele admire a profissão do pai ou o próprio pai ). Portanto veja como o like pode ter dois usos . Ok ?
