A group of volunteers goes to another part of Rocinha everyday (2:30 PM- 6 PM) to do art projects with kids who live in that area. We work with the daughters of the man who is the founder of this project. Beside doing the art projects we also sing, dance, play and talk with the kids.

In the morning (9 AM-3 PM) one group of volunteers is working with four different age groups. The kids we teach in tho project are the kids who go to the crèche right below the school. 6 and 7 year olds (9 AM-11AM), 3 year olds (10 AM-10:45 AM), 4 year olds (12 PM - 1 PM) 5 year olds (1 PM-2 PM) and the other group of 6 and 7 year olds (2 PM-3 PM). Everyday we're busy teaching the kids the basics of English, math and science, both on paper and through playing and singing.

In this class we teach mainly adult women that have very little to no English at all. From 3:00-4:30pm

In the afternoon (3 PM-8:30 PM) a group of volunteers is working with older kids and adults. We start by teaching the 9-12 year olds from the crèche English (3 PM-4:30 PM), then Fazedores (5 PM-6 PM) where we teach science and build thing with the kids who live on the street where the school is. Then we teach kids who aren't in our daycare English (6 PM-7 PM) and adult classes, both beginners and advanced (7 PM-8:30 PM).
