I had the opportunity to enjoy my 6th Bett Brasil, and though it is indeed an intense week, it is also one of the places to be when you wish to exchange ideas, (re)connect with peers, and learn more about different trends in education.

Every single year has been unique, still the most important part of the event is truly the people that take part in it, from the ones who bring our ideas to life in the stands, to the teachers and partners who visit us with an imperative goal in mind: To keep advancing learning, making education the best it can be for their learners.

What a gift it has been to share this Bett (and the previous ones) with you all!

It’s been almost a year since I last shared an update on this feed, so before we get back to our usual stuff, why not sharing a glimpse of life lately?

So far, 2026 has been a mix of it all! There’s been lots of online teaching and travelling, but also spent quality time with my friends and family. I was a host for one of the company main events, which was exciting! Despite the amount of online meetings (which almost drove me nuts at some point), I managed to have some of them face to face too, and those moments made my days brighter. I started delving into new themes, and worked with a nice view (but not many people knew that I was actually visiting my brother at the hospital, and couldn’t stand that same view after a day or two).

How about you? Has 2026 been treating you with kindness? I hope so! ✨😘

The 20th BTIC was my 3rd one, and it was memorable for several reasons. I’m grateful for every friend I got to see and hug throughout the conference, for how much I’ve learnt by attending outstanding sessions, for the team that made my days brighter and funnier, and for every colleague who took some time to be there during my session. ❤️

Over next week, I’ll have the incredible opportunity to attend the BTIC for the 3rd time, which is both a huge honour and responsibility. I can’t wait for all the learning and sharing that will be happening throughout the conference. Moreover, I’m also looking forward to meeting colleagues and friends face to face.❤️

The main aim of my session this year is to empower colleagues, exploring ways to make thinking visible in the classroom, and taking a look at some of the routines I’ve been experimenting within my teaching context.

See you in Goiânia? ☺️

One of the most incredible things about going to events such as bett is not only having the opportunity to make new connections, but also strengthening the ones we so wholeheartedly care for. These are some of the amazing human beings I had the pleasure of meeting over the past few days. ❤️

I’m overjoyed and looking forward to all the learning and sharing happening at this year’s BTIC! See you in Goiânia? ✨✈️

And just like, February is past us. 🥂

I got back to teaching, meeting my learners and discovering new things about them (which will be invaluable when planning lessons from now onwards) and got to enjoy a peaceful carnaval break at the beach.

I also did something for the first time: I hosted a global event, and despite feeling incredibly nervous, I was glad to have had the opportunity to experiment with it. February was also the month that allowed me to get back on track with my dreams and CPD goals, so I’m truly looking forward to March and hoping it will be a fantastic one!

How about your February? Did it treat you with kindness?
I wish you all a beautiful March. ✨❤️

And just like that, November is past us. ✨

As a teacher, all of my learners are now off to get cracking with their vacation, and I couldn’t be any prouder of everything they achieved throughout 2023. On the other, as an academic consultant, the busiest weeks have just begun, as I’m currently preparing the last trainings of the year as well as putting together the ones for January.

Still, I’m grateful and ready to celebrate lots in December.
Cheers to the last of this season! 🥂

Every teacher’s day takes me back to ages ago, when a dear friend of mine convinced me to apply to my first teaching job. I thought I’d found a way to kill time prior to getting cracking with university, but I had no clue how that would actually become one of the most special and life-changing decisions I’d make. Being a teacher has not always been all sunshine and rainbows, but it certainly helped me become a better human being in many ways. I’ll forever cherish every step of the way, every learner I helped somehow, and remember the journey with a big smile like the ones you see in these photographs.

Happy (belated) teacher’s day! I hope you had a marvellous one ❤️

A couple of weeks ago, I shared on stories that I was preparing a workshop for a dear group of teachers I’d meet in Bahia on a theme I’m always keen on reading and learning more about.

When I worked for a language school, I used to attend in-service training sessions and some of them were all about assessing students. Still, this is one of those teaching skills we need to continue working on, for the tools and methods we use to assess learners may vary depending on the teaching scenario and students’ needs, for instance.

Some of you asked me to share a couple of recommend materials, and here are some you might find handy when learning more about it.

Feel free to share your takes below. ✨❤️

Cheers to August! Here’s a short to recap a bit of what happened around here.

The whole team across got together for a couple of days full of learning and bonding at our national sales conference, and I had a blast spending some time with colleagues that don’t meet as often. I dare you to find me in that M photograph. 🤣

I was also one of the speakers at the 60th ACBEU seminar in Bahia, and it was a true gift meeting colleagues and learning more about their experiences and takes on teaching.

Then I returned home for a week, and got ready to return to Bahia once again, this time to visit schools and deliver workshops. One of them was all about assessing students, and I’ll share some of my takes on it here soon. 😉

Did you enjoy August? I hope it’s treated you well. Happy September, everyone! ✨
