Cooking Contest 2023, a remarkable and successful event, thanks to all the ones who were involved, students, families, sponsors, partners, and judges.

But this post is specifically to thank our brave, committed and determined staff.
We were able to start, go through and end the Cooking Contest 2023 successfully. We have been working to make it happens since the end of March. We shared thousands of ideas, procedures, recipes, and worries. The closer to the start of the event, the stronger the mix of excitement and worries were in our minds and hearts.

The kitchen was an amazing classroom! We learned how to organize ourselves and the children in a small space, taking care of the hot stove, help them to work in teams, creating and rehearsing their speeches, baking, frying, mixing, cutting… living in English.

We were and are teachers, partners, friends with each other, with families and our dear students. We experiment how healthy it is to be in a competition when we share, do our best and help others to do their best too.

TEAMWORK is wonderful.
As educators, we couldn’t aim anything but this.

Teachers Dani, Duda, Michele, Thaís and Georgia (who joined as in the last week), we are proud of what you have done! THANK YOU!

Imagine three women that leave everything behind, work, family and many other private stuffs, to come voluntarily to Quality twice a day, for 3 weeks.

These 3 women are our Cooking Contest Judges: Fernanda, Neca and Silvia.

They dedicated to make our Cooking Contest worth it, to value the work of students, families, and staff, to guarantee that learning English is meaningful and possible.

We are extremely grateful, again. Neca has been dedicating to our Cooking Contest since 2018, Fernanda, since last year and so did Silvia and Daniel from Massafina.

TEEN 5 ORANGE

The sensible story of the movie WONDER, which made some cry, and all of the group think, was represented in a special dish by Teen 5 orange. You did a very nice Job. Way to go!

TEEN 3
Princess, ogre, and lord of the movie Shrek made this Teen 3 chose a very special dish to match the movie’s characteristics, values and culture. The kind of food of those old times were carefully observed. Amazing job, Teen 3.

ORANGE
Their dish represented in color and shape the main character of the movie TURNING RED. Delicious and very well baked, they did an amazing job! Way to go!

KIDS 4 BLUE
A Bug's Life was the movie given to these Kids to create their dish. Warrior ants and grasshoppers and their need to survive, inspired Kids 4 blue to create an amazing dish. Well done, Kids 4 blue!

Our youngest teenage group was excited to present SPIDERMAN in a dish version.A typical American Hot Dog matched the movie scenario! Amazing job, Teen 1!

Our teenage team, premiere group in the Cooking Contest, was inspired by WALL-E. Their creation was concerning the main subject of the movie. Environment! You rocked!
