“These aren’t your flaws. They’re your gold.”
Let’s break that down.

What does it mean?

It means:
• The exhaustion you feel doesn’t disqualify you.
• The stress, the chaos, the burnout… they’re not signs of failure.
• They’re signs you’ve been there.
That you’ve lived the real, raw, demanding side of teaching.

And that? That’s gold.
Because when it’s time to grow, shift paths, build something new or explore a different direction, what sets you apart isn’t another degree. It’s what you’ve lived, learned, handled, and held.

That’s experience. That’s insight. That’s value.

You don’t need to erase your story to move forward.
You just need to learn how to use your story as a foundation — not a weight.

That’s what I help teachers do.

My visit to Bett Educar 2025 was full of insights, inspiring connections, and meaningful moments.

This year, the fair felt more diverse and dynamic than ever. Bilingual education remains strong, but what really caught my eye was the spotlight on Maker Education, STEM/STEAM, and materials designed for neurodivergent learners.

Artificial Intelligence was everywhere — from tools supporting teachers to platforms enhancing school systems. I also noticed strong discussions around internationalization and socio-emotional learning, showing how education is becoming more integrated and global.

Events like this are not just about trends. They’re about people, ideas, and the future we’re building together.

And yes — I had the joy of spotting some of my own books out there.
Truly proud, truly grateful.

Still feeling energized after an incredible weekend at the International Bilingual Education Symposium at IENH!

I had the opportunity to connect with passionate educators, share research-based practices, and lead two sessions that are very close to my heart:

- Workshop: “Bilingual Readers: Building Comprehension, Fluency, and Independence”
- Talk: “Developing Phonemic Awareness: From Early Childhood to Primary Education”
