crock
something that is impossible to believe because it is untrue or ridiculous:
She thinks horoscopes are a crock.

honey trap
the use of an attractive person to try to get information from someone:
Police set up a honey trap to get him to confess to the crime.

goody-goody
a person (such as a child) whose good behavior and politeness are annoying because they seem to be excessive or not sincere:
The other kids don't like her because she's a goody-goody.

rap sheet
a list kept by the police of all the times a person has been arrested:
He has a long rap sheet. [=he has been arrested many times]

sleep on it
to think more about something overnight and make a decision about it later:
You've heard my offer. Why don't you sleep on it and let me know what you decide.

ladies' man
a man who enjoys being with and giving attention to women:
He considered himself a real ladies' man.

the throne
​the toilet:
I can remember dad grabbing the newspaper and saying he'd be on the throne a while.

cowpoke
cowboy:
It's a movie about a couple of old cowpokes.

h***h
alcoholic liquor especially when it is cheap or made illegally:
He bought a bottle of h***h.

to drain one's lizard
to urinate:
I gotta drain my lizard.

bonkers
crazy:
You have to be bonkers to gamble that much.
I was driven bonkers by the noise.

loony bin
a hospital for people who are insane:
If you keep acting like that we'll have to send you off to the loony bin.
◊ Loony bin is usually used in a joking way.
