To have sunrise experiences one need to wake up really early here. It was 4:30 when we drove on the bike through empty dark streets.
Coming to Ponta Verde when the sky got lighter we saw just a few early birds like us going for a walk or jogging.
Canoas were already waiting on the sand and soon the whole team came.
Though I have paddled before on the lakes and rivers this time was different. Entering in syntony with a team, feeling the rhythm, leaving the city beging with it's noises and people - was a sort of meditation.
In spite of braking the routine, we felt energized for the whole day. This experience is really worth trying visiting Maceió.

Do you know how the cashews grow?
The fruits are very juicy and sweet, with slightly astringent taste.
They are very vulnerable, that's why only the nuts are exported. So if you want to try cashew fruits ("caju" in Portuguese) come to Brazil in December - January!
Just collected these from the tree of our neighbors here. You can eat them pure or make a juice: take out the nuts, put the fruits in the mixer, add a bit of water and sugar to taste. Strain the liquid and drink!
But don't bite the nuts from the fruit! ❌ In their natural unprocessed state they contain natural toxin. It is removed by roasting.

Inspite of pandemy the nature doesn't stop to produce. These acerolas in our garden are ready to harvest just at the right time!
Acerola is extremely rich in vitamin C. The amount about 50 times more than orange just boosts the immunity.

Be ready to make many mistakes when learning Portuguese. Those who are not afraid of them, learn much more faster.
Our special tip to bring you out of the comfort zone of perfectionism: go surfing! Even the best surfers fall down in the water all the time. And our students fall down with a style! 🇧🇷 🏄

How learning new language can help you to find girlfriend or how to learn new language quickly.
Although the lover's day in Brazil is in June, this story fits perfect for St. Valentine's day.
Once upon a time there was a Canadian guy who wanted to learn new language. He picked up Greek and registered on one tandem platform to find a language partner. Could not find any Greek person to talk, and in the meantime a lot of Brazilians were contacting him to learn English. That's how his relationship with Portuguese language has started. Among plenty of language partners there was somebody very special with whom he could talk for hours and very quickly it became a habit - talking in Portuguese for 3-4 hours a day. After a three month he has reached good intermediate level and decided to go to Brazil to polish his Portuguese and finally meet this very special person.
Here they are and this is just the beginning of the story…
