In case we haven't met yet, here's a little bit about me:
I didn’t always know I wanted to teach, but in my first year at university — while studying for a degree in languages and literature — I had my first classroom experience.
That’s when something clicked.
That early experience sparked a real curiosity about how people learn (and struggle to learn) a second language.
Over time, writing became a particular area of interest — especially as I worked on improving my own skills and started to notice the same struggles in my students that I had faced myself.
Back then, I realised how tough writing can be without a clear structure. I was getting feedback, sure, but what I lacked was a process — a way to plan, draft, and revise that actually built my skills over time.
Later, as a teacher, I saw my students facing the same challenge. That’s when I decided to do something about it.
Since then, I’ve completed a university degree, developed my English to C2 level and earned teaching qualifications like the CELTA, the TKT, and the Trinity CertPT.
These days, I work with English learners and teachers, offering one-to-one tutoring and group courses focused on writing and Cambridge exam preparation.
My aim is simple: to help people feel more confident — and more capable — every time they sit down to write.
If any of this sounds familiar, you might like my newsletter. It's where I share what I've learned about writing, teaching, and making progress with both. Check the link in my bio and subscribe to receive the new posts.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll probably find me in a coffee shop, making notes and drafting a blog post I’ll never publish, or figuring out new ways to make writing feel less overwhelming and more rewarding.
If you’re looking for support with writing, whether you're a learner or a teacher, I offer 1:1 sessions and courses focused on just that. DM me if you'd like to know more.
