Labioeng, Bioengineering and Biomechanics Laboratory, is located at Federal University of Goiás, in the city of Goiânia, the capital of state of Goiás, in Central Brazil. Its reseach is focused on neuronal modelling, biomedical signal processing and biomechanics of human movement.

Estão abertas as inscrições ao processo seletivo do Programa de Pós-graduação em Ciências da Saúde da UFG (https://cienciassaude.medicina.ufg.br/.../154962-edital...). Eu ofereço 2 vagas de mestrado e 1 de doutorado.
As linhas de pesquisa que trabalho são:
- Análise de marcha: estabilidade, coordenação intersegmentar/interarticular, e características não lineares
Em grupos como jovens, idosos, amputados, Parkinson, e outros grupos.
- Controle postural: análise em postura estática e sob perturbação, e outras condições (unilateral, dupla tarefa, entre outras)
Também com diversos grupos.
- Modelagem matemática em biomecânica, sobretudo usando o OpenSim.
- Inteligência artificial em sistemas inteligentes de diagnóstico
Tenho sistema de captura de movimento da Vicon, com doze câmeras, sistema de EMG sem fio (wireless) com 8 canais mais 8 canais de sensores inerciais (acelerômetro e footswitch), duas plataformas de força AMTI fixas, duas portáteis, plataforma de pressão plantar, e uma esteiria instrumentada Noraxon/Zebris com matriz de pressão plantar.
