We've been friends for a long time, but this year she's also giving me the honor of being her English teacher. She's been following her heart and investing in herself, taking not only English but singing lessons as well. Yesterday afternoon she rose to the challenge of singing Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing" in front of a small audience, at an event organized by her music school .floripa and broadcast live on YouTube.

Singing in a foreign language may be extra challenging, but we worked on improving her pronunciation, and she practiced hard and nailed it! Good job, Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of this journey. ❤️

This too shall pass.
Stay safe. Stay healthy. Stay home.

Happy Mother's Day to all mothers and mother-figures out there. Thank you for all your hard work, dedication, and love! ❤️
If your mother is around, hug her. If she's far away, call her. If she's gone, pray for her or think about the happy moments you shared and all the lessons she taught you. If you have more than one mother, love them! If you have a man as a mother-figure, love him! No matter how your family is, be grateful for all the "mothers" who have helped you get to this point in your life.❤️.
