The fairies have been leaving little notes again….☺️🌸🌿🩷

We have been exploring this beautiful inclusive story about a boy with a stammer and how his father helps him to talk like a river! After discussing the theme and reading the book, we invited the students to choose an image that stood out to them and do a watercolor painting. This is what they produced!🩵

What’s not to love about making mud pies! After a little Mud Kitchen revamp the students were out in force today experimenting with some new tools, pot, pans and measuring cups!🤩🌿🤎

The Mud Kitchen has some new chefs! 🥰

A brand new year is starting! We have our teacher training on Jan 29th, 30th and 31st and classes are back on Feb 5th.

Halloween 2023! What did we learn? Dressing up can be fun and challenges our aesthetic idea of self image. Yucky and scary play helps us to stretch our boundaries, deal with feelings creatively and get support and encouragement from our teachers and classmates. Yes we learned words and expressions about Halloween but more than that, we participated in a cultural event and made ever lasting memories….🎃🧡💚💜

A rainy afternoon is never dull in our Secret Garden as the children explore, invent and create their own games….😍

Bonfire moments. The children are invited to throw away negative thoughts and energies onto the fire which they write on small bits of paper. Then, on coloured paper with riboons, they write what makes them happy, their dreams and hopes for the world which they tie onto the school windows. This simple ceremony is carried out with deepest respect and to a backdrop of gentle songs….♥️🔥
