What is ABT NTC and why is it good for the ballet student. “The most recent training system , which launched in 2008. It was designed by Franco De Vita, principal of the ABT Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School, and Raymond Lukens , artistic associate of the ABT/NYU master’s degree program. It incorporates elements of the French , Italian, and Russian schools and consists of seven levels of training plus pre ballet primary level. Goals and objectives are set for each level , and it is up to the individual teacher to design excercises to accomplish them.
