O menino que sobe as escadas para alcançar um livro simboliza o esforço pelo conhecimento — e os degraus vencidos a caminho dos sonhos, dos objetivos de vida. Inauguro aqui em Sorocaba este mural com o qual quero passar a mensagem da importância da leitura. Fico feliz que minha arte esteja se espalhando pelo interior paulista e aproveito para agradecer os mais de 4 mil comentários com dicas de obras literárias que recebi. Neste, que acabou se tornando um trabalho colaborativo, destaquei 150 dessas sugestões. A literatura nos ajuda a chegar a lugares mais altos.
