Welcome to the best place for Online Harmonica Education. Whether you play Chromatic or Diatonic Harp
Here you will find the most updated articles, e-books, lessons and exercises available on the market.
Wanted to share with you my perspective: "my best harmonica teachers have been practicing with my chromatic harps no matter what issue they could have or brand model they are"
In my opinion chromatic harps tone is developed by learning how to breath through them properly and choosing the best notes to favor the breathing process. For example I thought that playing E # and B # was the most practical thing to do and developed that and that's how I feel comfortable but then I got this harp where one of those E # is damage and I am in the obligation to play the draw F without the slide and those subtle changes favor my tone, I mean I discover I deliver the note better. It's like a calibration to the way you physically play each of your instruments
This is achieved with patience and love. I name the harps on my video: 1, 2 and 3 and change speed to the same exercise. Harp 1 is a hohner super 64 with difficulty on the middle octave E # where I have to play the draw F. Harp 2 is an old Chromonica deluxe 2 that is pretty in tune and I like that, it looses air but none of its notes have issues to be played. Finally harp 3 my best suzuki chromatix that allows me to play more comfortably the E # and the B #, actually was the one I chose play the fastest speed I achieved in this video.
How is your experience? Do you practice in all your harps whether they might have any detail to be fixed and even that is happening you try to overcome the problem by changing the note? Which of the harps is the best souding for you?
playing this really cool tune using one of my favorite Low F DaBell harp played in 5th position if you play diatonic you'll get it. It happens to me that when I really like the vibe of a certain song my performance gets to its best

New project coming out. I really wanted to share how fun and exiting is playing that G minor pentatonic and G dorian all mixed up over Ain't No Sunshine with these great musicians
Enjoy this free chromatic harmonica lesson. This time I'm teaching a cool rare pentatonic lick in the key of Eb minor which is same scale as D minor pentatonic in 3rd position but pressing that slide button all the time
Quick Tip to Improve your tone. I'm using a G harmonica though after you learn it you could play it on any harp and it'll help get the best tone ever
