As I mentioned recently, I was very fortunate to train some very high end athletes along my career, here are some of them.
Picture 1 - Egan Inoue. Can’t remember how I met Egan, but I believe I went to his gym to ask for a job, (teaching yoga). He was super nice, allowed me to teach an intro class and the rest is history. Ended up teaching at his spot for many years, and I even had the honor of learning jiu-jitsu from him.
Egan Inoue is a two-time International Racquetball Federation (IRF) World Champion, Inoue is also a two-time Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion in colored belts, the first non-Brazilian to win a gold medal at the World Jiu Jitsu Championship.
Picture 2 - Jamie Sterling. Met Jamie at , (thanks Coach Eric!), and he became one of my students, (still takes my online, recorded classes).
Jamie Sterling whipped into some of the biggest wave ever surfed at Dungeons in South Africa, was a standout at the outer reefs on Oahu, competed in the Eddie, and won the second ever Big Wave World Championship in 2011, as well as Big Wave Tour events at Nelscott Reef (2013) and Pico Alto (2011) and the tuberiding contest at El Gr**go in northern Chile.
Picture 3 - Tim Marr. I met Tim while teaching at UFC BJ Penn’s gym many years ago. He ended becoming one of my students and a good friend also.
Tim Marr’s career highlights include being a top 15 finisher at the Kona Ironman World Championships and a top 10 finisher in the Half Ironman World Championships. He was also the 2007 Pan American Long Distance Triathlon Champion and the 2007 Half Ironman National Champion. Throughout his career, he achieved over 100 multisport event victories.
Now if I could assist these amazing gentlemen through my yoga expertise, imagine what I can do for you, regular athletes and regular folks?
Curious? Hit me up and let’s schedule your first yoga class!
I offer online yoga classes five days a week.
