A cidade também é um espaço de aprendizagem. 🌱🏙️
Os estudantes dos Years 1, 2 e 3 participaram de uma saída pedagógica por diferentes espaços de São Paulo, conectando as investigações realizadas em sala de aula a experiências reais.
No Espaço Morada da Floresta, aprenderam sobre sustentabilidade, permacultura, cultivo de alimentos, energia solar e biodiversidade. O percurso também incluiu uma experiência de uma visita à Horta das Corujas e uma investigação no Beco do Batman sobre arte urbana, patrimônio cultural, urbanização e os rios ocultos da cidade.
Cada vivência ampliou as investigações de cada turma: o Year 1 explorou os ambientes naturais e construídos e suas interações; o Year 2 aprofundou seus conhecimentos sobre a qualidade da água e do solo; e o Year 3 investigou os sistemas urbanos, os espaços públicos e os patrimônios que ajudam a construir a identidade das cidades.
Mais do que visitar novos lugares, nossos estudantes puderam observar, investigar e compreender como as nossas escolhas se relacionam com o meio ambiente, a comunidade e a cidade em que vivemos.

Our Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3 students took part in a field trip to different locations across São Paulo, connecting their classroom inquiries with real-world experiences.
At Espaço Morada da Floresta, they learned about sustainability, permaculture, food cultivation, solar energy, and biodiversity. The journey also included a visit to Horta das Corujas and an investigation at Beco do Batman, where students explored urban art, cultural heritage, urbanisation, and the city’s hidden rivers.
Each experience extended the inquiries of every year group: Year 1 explored natural and built environments and their interactions; Year 2 deepened their understanding of water and soil quality; and Year 3 investigated urban systems, public spaces, and landmarks that help shape the identity of cities.
More than visiting new places, our students had the opportunity to observe, investigate, and understand how our choices are connected to the environment, the community, and the city in which we live.
