If you want to practice english a little bit, or provide a good tool for your students, i am using this one:
http://www.conversationexchange.com/
There, you can find people to talk and share your thoughts in a target language..
This is my extended presentation when i search for a partner, which want to learn portuguese.:
Hi, I am Brasilian.
I would like to talk and write a little bit more in english.
About the exchange, I would be able to help people in portuguese language improvement and learning.
As you informed, you have an intermediate to advanced level of portuguese language and knowledge, so, i would like to chat with you via skype.
In these way, both of us could learn and improve our language knowledges.
We could, as an example, chat through skype, during 60':
30' in portuguese and
30' in english.
This could happen twice a week, on monday and wednesday nights, at a scheduled time.
I am a upper-intermediate reader in english, and, i think, i am a not so good writer and speaker of the english language, although i know a little bit of literatures and cultures in English Language, and related and not so related subjects, hhehe.
I am a intermediate reader and listener o French, Spanish and Italian, although i dont speak these languages.
I am a beginner in german language learning, but mainly reading.
Will be easier for me to chat using Skype.
Wait to have news of you soon.
Through Conversation Exchange you can have three types of language exchange: face to face conversation by meeting up with native speakers, Correspondence (pen-pal), text and voice chat
