Neural Engineering Lab

Aspiring Scientists Summer Internship Program (ASSIP) concluded in early August - we went out for a lab lunch at the Globe - lots of good memories from several projects!

Kanwal Ahmad, having now committed to coming to Mason (yayayayay) and to majoring in Electrical Engineering, presents a poster at the Volgenau School of Engineering research symposium (April 16, 2019) with Albin Alex! Estas pequenas agulhas permitem estimular regiões específicas do cérebro e registrar a atividade elétrica de neurônios, sendo muito utilizadas em pesquisas de Neurociências. Entretanto, ainda não são produzidas no Brasil. Com isso em mente, um dos projetos do CEPID BRAINN busca desenvolver sondas neurais no país pela primeira vez.
