From learning about economics to putting ideas into practice, our Grade 2 students brought their Community Market to life!
As the conclusion of their Economics Unit, students became young entrepreneurs and consumers, creating goods and services and using the “salary” they earned throughout the unit to purchase items from their classmates’ businesses.
From brigadeiros and other sweet treats to origamis, spa treatments, and much more, students explored how markets work while making thoughtful choices with their money and reflecting on whether they followed their spending plans.
Students also extended their learning about advertising by creating personalized digital ads and using tablets to display their advertisements, promoting their products and communicating their ideas. Through this STEAM connection, they explored how technology can support communication, creativity, and real-world problem-solving.
A hands-on experience that connected economics, creativity, collaboration, and real-world learning!

Our Grade 4 students transformed ideas into action as they became young entrepreneurs at the Business Fair!
As the culmination of their final Units of Inquiry, How We Organize Ourselves and How We Express Ourselves, our Grade 4 students transformed their ideas into real-world products and brought their very own businesses to life in a completely student-led marketplace.
From planning and creating products to designing advertisements, communicating with customers, and managing sales, students explored the foundations of entrepreneurship while developing valuable life skills in financial literacy, teamwork, communication, creativity, and problem-solving.
A big thank you to our EAC community for supporting our young entrepreneurs and making this hands-on learning experience such a success!

Creativity took many forms across campus as our students showcased their latest Arts and Design exhibitions! From storytelling and animation to graphic design and nature-inspired creations, each exhibition highlighted students’ curiosity, imagination, and unique ways of seeing the world. 🎨✨
Our Middle School artists explored the power of visual storytelling through myths, comics, and printmaking. Grade 6 students created original stories inspired by myths of origin from different cultures, bringing them to life through sculpted and hand-painted masks. Grade 7 students developed comic narratives while studying the human figure, facial expressions, body language, and perspective. They also created printmaking works inspired by Literatura de Cordel as part of their Portuguese studies, developing cordel booklets that celebrated Brazilian women who made important contributions to the country’s history, while combining storytelling, research, and artistic expression through their original cover designs.
In Visual Arts Afterschool, students experimented with a variety of materials and techniques, from acrylics and watercolor to alternative photography using plant dyes and sun exposure. By exploring new forms of artistic expression, they stepped outside their comfort zones and created personal projects that reflect their creativity.
The Animation Club exhibition celebrated a year of bringing ideas to life through movement. From stop motion to digital animation, our student animators spent the year experimenting, creating, and exploring how animation can transform imagination into moving images.
Our High School Graphic Design students explored the relationship between design and identity through their Soda Brand Design project. Creating their own brands from concept to ex*****on, students developed brand books, advertisements, digital mockups, and physical products such as bottles, mugs, tote bags, and T-shirts.
The Art & Nature Club exhibition invites our community to take a walk through EAC’s natural surroundings and discover the beauty around us in new ways. Inspired by the plants, animals, and elements of nature that surround us, students explored the connection between art and nature by observing their environment and experimenting with natural materials. Their work reminds us to look at the world around us with curiosity, kindness, and appreciation for all forms of life, while celebrating the wonders of our planet and our connection to it.
Congratulations to all our student artists for sharing their creativity, ideas, and perspectives with our community. Through each exhibition, they showed how art can be a powerful way to tell stories, explore identities, and engage with the world in new ways.

With quick thinking, creativity, and lots of imagination, they turned every moment into a new surprise. It was an evening full of laughter and unforgettable memories!

“You changed, you changed, something is not the same…” 🎶
Our Grade 1 students explored the ideas of change, patterns, and opposites through their final Music unit, “Same and Different,” during a special hands-on Music Learning Connection!
By switching roles, singing, moving, mapping notes, and playing xylophones together, students and families discovered how patterns and opposites help us create, understand, and experience music in new ways.
A celebration of collaboration, creativity, and the joy of learning together.

Our Grade 5 students enjoyed a special introduction to the Middle School Band experience with Mr. Hackley and current Grade 6 students.
As they prepare for their transition to Grade 6, students were introduced to the band program through an entertaining and educational concert. They had the opportunity to hear each section of the band featured individually, experience the full ensemble performing together, and learn more about the musical journey ahead.
Following the concert, Grade 5 students asked thoughtful questions about the band program, which were answered by both Mr. Hackley and current Grade 6 band members. They heard about their experiences, from their first steps with their instruments to their growth throughout the year.
It was a wonderful opportunity for students to connect with their peers and feel more prepared and excited about the musical experiences to come!
