It's a fact: children are sponges for learning. They soak up new information like a sponge, and they love to do it. When you add in the element of play and fun, kids are ready to learn—and retain—just about anything you throw at them!

That's why it's so important to make language-learning an enjoyable part of your child's day. If you make the process into a game or an activity (like reading), your child will be more receptive to what you're teaching them, and they'll remember it longer than if you just sit them down and try to get through some dry reading materials together.

Children need to hear the language being used in a variety of situations and settings so that they can begin to understand how words are connected with objects, actions, and feelings.

You can help your child or your student learn language by talking with them frequently, using lots of different words and phrases, and introducing new ones when appropriate (such as when you're reading books together).

🍄Children are curious beings. They learn faster when taught in a way they understand and enjoy. And they certainly love to play — as every parent knows, that is essentially what children do all day long. So why not combine these two and capitalize on the enormous educational potential of play?
