He stared taking guitar classes when he was 7 years old. When Raphael turned 9, he started playing small concerts with his brother. At the age of 12, he got his first guitar and started rock lessons. He started his first real band when he was 15. Raphael played many different styles of music. He played with many cover bands and at the age of 20, he started writing his own songs. Nowadays, he's got

a band with original songs and he also play some covers. In 2012, Raphael started Rafive Palhetas (Picks). It was very hard for artists to find a good price on personalized picks back then. After one year just personalizing picks, he decided it was about time for a Brazilian company to start making good quality picks to Brazil and other countries. Raphael started to make his own picks with the help of some partners. Now he offers many different types of picks. The company is always investing to make more picks to attend all the customers. We count with more than 20 machines in our factory, different types of thermoplastic and pigments. We offer different models and thicknesses of picks, also exclusive models and different colors.
