Software Engineering Lab (LabSoft) focuses on the study, evaluation and definition of new technologies that allow dealing with different dimensions of software complexity. In particular, our research deals with issues of specification, construction, maintenance, evolution, reuse, and validation of software systems. Moreover, LabSoft investigates practical applications of models, methods and tools to support the quality improvements of software processes, projects, and products.

On Nov 7-9, Lab-Soft was present at the 30th Conference on Software Engineering Education and Training (CSEE&T 2017) in Savannah, GA. We had a full paper (by Maurício Souza, Kattiana Constantino, Lucas Furtini and Eduardo Magno) and a poster (by Maurício Souza, Renata Teles Moreira and Eduardo Magno) about the use of gamification in software engineering education.
