Eighteen years ago today, I walked out of JR Hospital in Oxford with my son Davi in my arms. I was a very proud dad that day… but today, as you turn 18, I couldn’t be even prouder of the fine young man you are becoming.

Davi, you are not only my son—you are also my best friend. I thank God every day for your life. You have grown into a responsible, kind, and strong young man—a protector, a warrior, and a God-fearing man. Seeing the man you are becoming fills my heart with pride beyond words.

My prayer is that God continues to guide your steps, strengthen your faith, and bless your life abundantly. I promise I will always work hard to help you achieve even more than I ever could.
