EFL-IS Virtual Business Meeting

We are thrilled to invite you to our next virtual open business meeting. The current EFL-IS Chair, Beatriz Erazo, will pass the torch to Pongampai Kongcharoen as the 2023-2024 Chair. English as a Foreign Language Interest Section (EFL-IS) invites expression of interest from English teachers working in EFL contexts who are passionate about serving as Chair-Elect (2023-2024). The application deadline is 23 January 2023. Learn more at https://forms.gle/zNi9X6ybbUQAE9xe6

English as a Foreign Language Interest Section (EFL-IS) invites expression of interest from English teachers working in EFL contexts who are passionate about serving as Chair-Elect (2023-2024). It is a volunteer leadership role responsible for supporting the Chair in planning and organizing Interest Section activities throughout the year. In addition, the Chair-Elect is required to attend (at their own expense) leadership workshops, meetings, and other events at the annual TESOL Conventions (mainly in the USA). The applicants must be TESOL members in good standing.

To apply, please fill in this form, submitting a brief bio and a statement of interest elaborating on why you are interested in the position. Please fill in this form, at the latest, by January 23rd, 2023. After a review by the EFL-IS Nominating Committee, successful candidates will be included in an election ballot for the current EFL-IS membership to vote.
