We will be directing the AA Visiting School in Bolivia together with Alma Films and Arquitectura Andina.. join us!

This AA Visiting School allows students to develop their skills and abilities outside of the conventional academic environment, physically being present on-site.

We invite Phd students and professionals to research and work in site-specific interventions, together with Undergraduate students. We curate conversations with a very broad range of experts, directing lectures, symposiums, and practical workshops that deal with extremely different media (archaeologists, anthropologists, researchers, designers) for the whole team to engage with new possible collaborators and get in touch with the most varied disciplines.

This type of hands-on, intense workshop is built in a collaborative environment and we strongly search for new possibilities to build on each others’ knowledge and perspectives.

El Alto is today one of Bolivia's fastest-growing urban centers. Throughout the visiting school, students travel from la paz daily to observe and listen to the different buzz that is heard on the altiplano. Here the first encounters with young players during a football match after a Sunday’s market.
