POR and PARA
Both can mean FOR in English… but they are not the same.
Use PARA for:
🎯 purpose
📍 destination
👤 recipient
⏰ deadline
Use POR for:
💡 reason / cause
🛣️ movement through a place
⏳ duration
🤝 exchange
🎯 Easy trick:
PARA = purpose or destination
POR = reason, path, time
Notice the difference:
1. Trabajo para mi familia. (for their benefit)
2. Trabajo por mi familia. (because of them)
