Year 6 students from International School Brunei (ISB) Seria recently visited the V Plaza art exhibition, “Sketches of Brunei.”

The students enjoyed taking their art lessons outside the classroom, where they sketched and carefully observed the beautiful paintings, sketches, and watercolours.

Through looking closely at the artwork, students were able to identify lines, shapes, colours, and textures, and explain clearly in their own words what they could see. They also enjoyed creating sketches of their favourite pieces of art.

To finish the day on a sweet note, V Plaza treated the students to ice cream and orange juice. A big thank you to V Plaza for welcoming us and making the visit such a wonderful experience!

Presenting Act 2 of International School Brunei (ISB) Seria’s Musical Production, A Hint of Snow White!

Deep in the enchanted forest, Snow White finds friendship, confidence, and happiness among her new companions, far from the control of Queen Malodorous. Determined to reclaim her title as the “fairest” in the land, the Queen devises a sinister plan.

Disguised as an old woman, Queen Malodorous tricks Snow White into accepting a poisoned apple, sending her into a magical sleep. As her friends rally together, Prince-sy helps uncover the truth behind the Queen’s wicked scheme.

In true pantomime fashion, good triumphs over evil as harmony is restored to the kingdom, leading to a joyful finale filled with celebration, friendship, and forgiveness.

A huge congratulations to the students and staff of ISB Seria for their hard work, creativity, and dedication in bringing this wonderful production to life.

Special thanks also to our supporters, Haji Adinin and Sons (B) Sendirian Berhad and Serikandi Group of Companies, for their valued support.

International School Brunei (ISB) Seria hosted its’ musical production, “A Hint of Snow White”, on Wednesday, 10th June 2026, delighting audiences at Pusat Insani, Seria.

Act 1 introduced the kingdom of Duluxumbourg, along with the vain and wicked Queen Malodorous, who is obsessed with being admired above everyone else. We meet a host of quirky characters. Snow White’s kindness and friendship with the people makes her increasingly popular, which fuels the Queen’s jealousy.

The production included a main cast of Year 1 to Year 8 students, along with supporting singers and performances from students in Year 1 to Year 8.

Mr Morley said, “Beyond the magic and familiar characters, A Hint of Snow White reminds us that kindness, empathy, and quiet courage often matter most - the qualities that bring people together and help everyone feel they belong. These are values we see lived out across ISB every day.”

Meanwhile, Ms Tracey Woodcock, Head of ISB Seria Campus, said, “This show is a true whole-school effort, with everyone working together to bring the story to life. At ISB, everything we do is fully inclusive, and every pupil plays a part in making this production special, both on stage and behind the scenes.

A huge congratulations to our students and staff for their hard work, enthusiasm and teamwork, and thank you to our families and community members for joining us to celebrate this wonderful achievement.
